Why I started this blog

As you’ve probably read in my About section, I’ve studied film making. In fact, any way to tell stories has always fascinated me and I think most of you will agree that telling stories through movies or shows is definitely the most extensive one. I’ve started writing books and short stories when I was really young (nope, they weren’t any good – practice
makes perfect!) and then went on to try and bring my imagination to the screen. It turned out to be really hard. My first attempts were pathetic. But I loved it!
During my film studies, I learned all the basics of storytelling on screen. And yes, I turned from a miserable writer and director to at least a not so miserable one. This enabled me to develop a deeper understanding for the art of film making and I daresay I got quite experienced in analysing the different aspects that contribute to a movie being awesome or to suck.
Whenever friends or family talk about a movie that I know, I can get really worked up about their discussions and I think I’d literally explode if I kept my mouth shut in these moments. That’s because I realised I just have so much to say about my favourite form of art. It needs to get out.
So this is why I’m writing these lines to you today. I want to talk about everything that’s on my mind when it comes to different movies or shows that I really love and that sometimes will not be very well-known (which should be interesting for you).
You can analyse all you want, some things are just a matter of taste and different opinions. So I’d be happy to receive your comments and messages on my posts, as I’m pretty interested in what you think about the particular movie.
Have fun and thanks in advance for reading my stuff and participating in the discussions! 🙂
